Good Thursday morning everyone.
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you, my readers, for a fantastic 2024 season and to discuss next season and what you should expect content-wise as a free and paid subscriber.
Looking for a new DFS optimizer? Join The Solver today, build up to 300 lineups at a time, upload RaceSheets projections for any race, and get 4for4’s projections preloaded into their NFL DFS optimizer.
Using the link helps support my work here at the RaceSheetsDFS Substack.
Thank You
First and foremost, from the bottom of my heart, thanks to everyone who subscribed to this Substack over the 2024 season. Since its launch in December 2022, this little “newsletter” has grown to nearly 600 combined free and paid subscribers. Paid subscribers nearly doubled, thanks in part to most of you finding the Substack via the One Week Season and 4for4 Discords as well as Props Afficianado Zach Roberts (the best $5 you’ll spend every month).
Without you all, my supporters, this venture ceases to exist and my work fades into the background as I’m probably working another part-time job, on top of my regular 8-5 job, on the weekends to help make ends meet.
2025 Plans
Although it’s only November, I’ve started drilling down on what content will look like for next season, and here’s what to expect:
Prices ARE NOT increasing; whether for monthly or annual subscribers. If you’re one of the monthly subs who has continued to support the RaceSheets during the offseason (meaning you haven’t or won’t cancel your monthly membership), expect to receive an offer, via email, to get access for the original $15 fee.
The RaceSheets are not changing. As a subscriber, you’ll still get the RaceSheets for every Trucks, Xfinity, and Cup slate. Currently, the links to the RaceSheets are down (I’ll link the Clash sheets once we get closer to the start of the year).
Discord is changing, sort of. If you joined Discord, then you’re aware of how I had to manually change your role for you to see the Premium channels. For 2025, I’ve found a program that automates all of this. For now, the premium channels won’t be visible, but in 2025 you’ll find out how to link your subscription with Discord and have your role automatically adjusted. If you’re a free subscriber and have been hanging out in Discord, there will still be plenty of areas in the Discord that are accessible to free subscribers. For example, I’ll be in Discord talking NFL DFS lineups with whoever wants under the “Other sports” category.
The article is changing. After talking to many of you, I’ve decided to do the following with the weekly article. First, a simplified Cup picks article with a few cash and GPP picks will be accessible to the public. Thus, as a free subscriber, you’ll be able to read some blurbs on a few drivers I like as cash or tournament plays. That said, the more in-depth portions of the article (likely dominators, cash/ GPP cores, punt picks, game theory, etc…) are still reserved for paid subscribers. More than likely, this info will drop on race days now.
The free trial membership is going away. In the past, you’ve had the option to get a free trial to the RaceSheets that automatically renewed after seven days. That option is fading away, but you can now join as a weekly subscriber if you don’t want to commit to a monthly or annual membership.
Finally, and most importantly, the RaceSheets are moving away from Substack. I’ve found another subscription service to platform the RaceSheets on, but I’m not at liberty to divulge those details just yet. However, if you’re in the Discord, the cat is pretty much out of the bag…When the time is right, the new platform will be announced both here and on X.
